Training
Dr. Hua earned her medical bachelor’s degree in Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) through a five-year program from prestigious Shaanxi University of Traditional Chinese Medicine in Shaanxi China (1984-1989).
Later she was trained in a highly regarded Western medicine university, Disi Junyi University in China to study Western medicine, specialized in neurological disorders (1997-1998).
Clinical experience
Dr. Hua practiced as a certified and licensed doctor for sixteen years in both TCM and integrative medicine (1989 to 2004) at Yangling Hospital with 800 employees in Shaanxi China. In the recent a few years (2010-2014), she joined the Truemind Center for Traditional Chinese Medicine in Denver CO, and was responsible for acupuncture treatment and Chinese herbs prescription. Besides, Dr. Hua also had her hands on many other TCM-related therapies such as moxibustion, cupping, auricular point therapy, scalp acupuncture, guasha, acupressure etc. In her twenty-year clinical experience both in China and in the United States, Dr. Hua has successfully treated thousands of patients. She has achieved widespread recognition for her successful treatment of some difficult cases, which Western medicine and surgery have not solved.
Dr. Hua has founded her own clinic of Union Traditional Chinese Acupuncture & Herb recently to continue help more patients improve their quality of lives. As always, she puts emphasis on TCM dietary and lifestyle, has compassion and concern for every individual, and provides the patients with the best professional clinical care.
Dr. Hua has a happy family. Her husband is a scientist. They have a lovely daughter.
